Why personal training might be right for you?
There are many reasons people seek out trainers.  It may be for guidance in sports specific conditioning, meeting a training goal, losing weight, or simply you need to have an appointment to get yourself going in the right direction.  Hiring a personal trainer is an excellent way to get a program set up that meets your goals and teaches you how to correctly perform the exercises.  The best part of having a trainer is that they will push you as much or as little as you like.

What is a Personal Trainer?
A personal trainer should be, at the least, educated and certified by a reputable fitness organization.  This person's job is to assess your fitness level, set up a program for you  and keep you motivated.  She will push you past your comfort level- something most people won't do on their own.  A trainer also provides:
-guidance on reaching your goals
-education on stregth training and cardiorespiratory fitness
-nutritional counseling
-a reason to workout every week!
-accountablilty
-ways to help track your progress

What is a session like?
Each session typically lasts one hour.  There are times when a person may only want half hour or hour & a half sessions.  The first meeting is a complimentary session devoted to assessing fitness level, body measurements, health and exercise history and goals.  Be ready to step on the scale and have your body fat analzyed.  After the initial testing the sessions will be tailored to your personal goals.

Where are the sessions held?
Sessions can be in-home or at Body Squad's Gym.

If you choose the in-home option your trainer will arrive at your home or workplace 5 minutes before the scheduled appointment so that she has time to set up for the session.  Your trainer will bring the necessary equipment to the session.  You are not required to purchase any equipment.  If you already own equipment your trainer will incorporate that into the sessions as well.

If you choose the Body Squad Gym your trainer will have you arrive promptly at your schedule time and your workout will begin!  Again, no equipment needed on your part.  Simply have a water, good shoes, and a can-do attitude!

How much do sessions cost?
In home sessions are $60/hour.
Receive a $10 discount/hour when you come to the Body Squad Gym!!!
